That was comical. I noticed that he left out his prediction for the November 5th game. I wonder what it was. LOL

I have studied all the stats like all of you have.
One thing I want to factor in, is how well focused, conditioned and disciplined this Bama team is.

Bama 24
LSU 10

Feeling more confident this morning Bama 24 LSU 16 Trent gets over a 100 yds. Warmack and Steen or McCullough substantially controls the interior tackles so we can get the run game going. Fluker, Jones and the tight ends neutralize their speedy DE's pass rush enough to allow AJ to pass for 180 yds. Think Fluker and Jones and the tight ends can handle the undersized (but quick) DE's on running plays. AJ will probably be sacked a couple of times and hurried some but I think he will rise to the occasion and do enough for us to get the win. We prevail in the 4th Qtr to get our 9th win of the year.

He got the sacks and AJs passing yards but thats about it

I don't know any other way to say it: Alabama only has 2 advantages over LSU - TR and linebackers.

We counter that by playing lots of great running backs, and have a base 4-3. Also, we play our outstanding DBs in 5 DB configurations to both counter the pass and offset our relative lack of quality, experience LBers after the first couple of guys.

So, just as it appeared on November 5th, the teams are roughly equal, save for a select few areas - Bama has more experience and a 'go-to' player on offense, LSU is deeper and has better special teams, both overall and a decided advantage in placekicking and punting.

How are they going to "roll" over us? Just because they're Bama?

Here's another thread from around that time where they are lamenting about how much better we will be next year.

They were broken up and acting like LSU fans for a moment

It's amazing the change in tone they've had since 9-6.

I think losing on Jan 9 is going to KILL some of them. I'm not exaggerating either.

goes to show most those gumps do not know jack about football, nor strategies employed, nor x's and o's, and probably have never even played football. No objectivity at all. That diode filter in their brain will NOT allow it!

The country will finally understand just how good this Bama team is after November 5th.

Well he was right about this. The country found out Bama was not as good as LSU.
