Balls being tipped and batted down

Any concerns on the number of balls that Leavitt had tipped and batted down. There were at least 5 that I recall.
Not sure if he has a low release. I had to look up his height to make sure that wasn’t the issue, but I see he’s listed at 6’2”

If it happens again yes. First game he gets a pass (pun intended). Same with the errant through and dropped would-be receptions.

Some of those were rpo and can happen. Most of it was first game timing issues.

Eh, it happens. Sometimes it happens in a short time span in a single game, like in one half of football. I'm more concerned about the 4 drops our receivers had. And that interception was 75%-80% on Malik Elzy. It hit him in his hands. Not a perfect throw, but still.

He winds up and throws it like a baseball, he can run though .

When there is a lack of pressure, there are more batted balls at the line. They go hand in hand. All DL are taught to get their hands up if they're stymied on their rush.

I don’t think it’s a QB issue. It’s more of an Oline issue and at that, I wouldn’t call it an issue. As someone said above, it happens more when they’re blocking well. Only fix is a “hand placement” to the gut. After that, Dlineman will think twice

I also don't think he's anywhere close to 6'2". On his touchdowns he was around the rest of the team and looked 5" shorter than everyone else

They are already breaking his arm so he can be like Henry Rowengartner and just launch the ball through the D-Line instead of over it.
