I believe it has more to do with their fans than the perceived image of Vitello. LSU has certainly had it's share of douche fans and a-hole players. We're not innocent of these traits. Vitello gets a bad rap because he happens to coach them. That bump into the umpire probably had more to do with firing up his team than anything else. Every interview I've ever seen of him he seems like a pretty good dude. Again, I think the hate for RockTop is more about the school's fans and and some players.
