Background Does Sankey have some historical beef with Kiffin/LSU that’s driving this?

This is an incredibly high stakes game of brinksmanship he’s playing here.

It’s like he found out Kiffin banged his wife or something and he’s getting revenge.

Well, for one thing, Kiffin made Sankey look like a fricking moron last week by testifying he hadn't even read the 5 for 5 rule.

I think it has something to do with LSU not voting for the no pros in the league vote

15-0 not 16-0

apparently we sat that out

probably pissed him off, add the fact he go embarrassed in court last week

He should resign

and Chambliss is ineligible

he should not be playing because the rules were abused by a judge under the old rules, well the new rules apply and he's not eligible either

why isn't ole Miss required to sit him ?

where is the outrage?

Skankey has a micro-peen and a shitload of estrogen in his system.

Only explanation I can think of.

Because the LSU guys signed a contract! Even though 1 got $0 and the other got like $150

Thats a big difference man!

He fears Kiffin and LSU becoming more powerful. And what he's doing now is not helping his cause.

Are you slow? We just put him on the stand for 3 1/2 hours in Federal court and tried to humiliate him in front of the national media.

Who is we? LSU did nothing of the sort. The players suing the ncaa and sec did.

I think it was BR who said they have an issue stemming from when kiffin was at Tennessee and he tried to get urban in trouble for recruiting violations. Slive was still commissioner obviously but sankey had some kind of compliance role in the league during that time

We, lsu, did not put him on this stand for three and a half hours. The players were the plaintiffs and they put him on the stand. I'm not sure Clayton and his cold cup of Gumbo comments and CLK's comments on Saturday are helping to deescalate. Both sides need to take a breath bf this passes the point of our return, if it hasn't already.

You're right on one thing though. Although the plaintiffs put him on the stand and not LSU, I think the league in the NCAA are convinced that Kiffen approached and recruited the players to do this. This whole movement was LSU's attempt to work the system. I think that's why LSU is being singled out versus the other schools that are now looking at this as an option.
