some of my random thoughts from our trip. I had a great time. I think we had more like 20k fans for the game. Both endzones were all LSU and it looked like the top of both upper decks were all LSU. The only thing I didn't like was how far back we set from the endzone. UW's campus was ok but school wasn't in so there seemed to be a lack of excitement that you normally have with SEC schools. Drove down the coast in Oregon yesterday and it was breath taking. This would be a trip I would take again.

On a side note did anyone see UW's Baseball "Stadium"? I can honestly say that I have seen better little league parks.

No way. The south endzone was maybe 70% full and the north endzone is tiny.

The consensus in our group was that that was the women's softball field.

ETA: definitely the softball field

Our softball stadium is nice. The baseball stadium is awful. No permanent grandstand. We have been waiting over a decade for one since they moved to the new location from old Graves Field.

Jeff took a pic of the baseball stadium:

I had 2 great meals in Seattle. One at Atheana which was featured in Sleeping in Seattle --I ate Alaskan Halibut and Elliott"s which was terrific. I ate raw oysters and White Alaskan Salmon!!! Tiger fans were everywhere.

I had mixed feelings about Seattle. The weather was amazing the whole time. It's a beautiful place. I drank a lot of different beers up there and the majority of them were better than Abita. Wasn't a big fan of the hairy hippie chicks. Pabst was at every bar, and i had my fair share of it. The stadium was crap, they had wooden bleachers that were too far from the field. Met some real nice fans and saw some real arse hole fans. A lot of people in the city of Seattle had no clue why we were there. I even had a few people ask me what an LSU was. I'm glad I went on the trip, but I'm in no hurry to get back to Seattle.

I am pretty conservative, but based on my visit to Seattle, I have to wonder what all of us in the bible belt are doing wrong when I see the education level/quality of living/and overall very clean state of things in a place like Seattle.

You didn't ride the bus and mix with many locals did you? Overall I enjoyed my visit. People asked me if I had ever seen so much seafood/did I have rain gear for the game/told me where I lived had no water/what is LSU? They are no more enlightened and or educated.
