Actually there was a mass exodus in the south end but not til after the game. I haven't seen the ramps that crowded after a game in a while. Maybe arky 07? Some left a little early. And as someone already mentioned the WVU fans nearest to me left with 10 min left in the game. But I'd bet there were at least 75k left at the end.

Don't know why it is, but I always see a few people around me leaving early. Regardless of the score.

Some even disappear during halftime.

I don't try to figure out these fans but there are always a few.

I guess they're just looking for something to do for a couple of hours on Saturday night.

Most are not fans. Most are people who got tickets through a corporation who got the tickets because regular fans have been priced out of the stadium. They get the tickets as a perk to do business or a favor to get business. MO. After a few quarters they get bored.

Ditto to what catnip said.
BTW, it's a damn shame that it's come to that.

They're obviously welcome to spend their money how they see fit, and leave whenever they feel it's time. But I don't get why you'd pay full price for admission, then leave after only seeing half of your entertainment. It'd be like going to see seven or eight movies a year, and always walking out 50-75% of the way thru

This is correct. Yes I understand you spend your money and that is your right. Just dont call yourself a fan. Call it what it is,its nothing more than a vanity exercise so you can tell all your frinds you went to an LSU game or that your a season ticket holder. If you leave at the half in a close game when your team needs you your not a fan, plain and simple. Being a fan is earned its not bought with the purchase of your tickets.

They are runing tiger stadium atmosphere. The fans from 2003 era never left the stadium. These assholes leave at halftime to go eat at a restaurant or some reason are pissing me off and are the reason why tiger stadium isn't loud anymore. Yeah real smart drive a hour away to come watch the game and leave at halftime what a joke Congratulations guys keep up the good work

Were you really at the game? It was the tamest that stadium has been at night in a very long time for a game against a ranked opponent.

Yes I was at the game and if you were there then you would know what I said is true. When Lee came in the fans started cheering big time.

Bump so all the people who call themselves fans that leave at half can tell thier friends they've been to an lsu game. Can u imagine if those 93,000 people were the true lsu fans how much better the atmosphere would be

I didn't see many people leaving early at all. It was nothing like other games the last two years.

Oh, Dear God! I can only imagine what it was like listening to JH Saturday night, particularly when LSU converted a third-and-two into something like a third-and-twenty seven because of penalties.

This. I think a large contingent of people along the visitor's sideline are clients, etc. Around me in the west upper, it stayed pretty full the whole time and the endzones and east upper looked full. Just that damn visitor's sideline always thins out - unfortunately that's the one everybody sees on TV.

Les Miles has taken the joy out of watching LSU football

I can't tell you how many times I've heard that from LSU fans I know. I was at the game on Saturday and, although we didn't leave early, a good many people in our section did. I heard a lot of "I just can't watch this anymore".
