It damn sure feels like it is. It’s hot. The bass fishing is slow as frick, though you do tend to pull some bigger boys out of those depths this time of year. That may be the ONLY fish you catch that day, but as they say, “a shitty day on the lake beats a good day at work every time”.

That 3 month waiting period from early June post-baseball season to late August feels like an eternity
