This trend of accepting 3-5 loss seasons that we've had recently baffles me. When we recruit the way we do, pay our coaches what we do, and have some of the best facilities in the nation, why do we constantly accept anything less than the best? That's without even mentioning the best stadium in all of sports along with the most passionate fanbase in the nation.

Yes, Alabama is really, really good. Yes, Ole Miss and Arkansas will always give us their best games of their seasons. But guess what? We have just as much talent wearing purple and gold as they do.

Gosh damn man, I'm sick and tired of being on the outside looking in year in and year out.

I know the pumpers will tell me I have unrealistic expectations, go ahead and tell me that I'm taking college football too seriously. I don't think I am; I don't think it's too much to ask for us to be right there in the thick of things at the end of November every year.

The commitment to excellence seems to have fallen by the wayside with this program and that sucks. Hope we can right the ship next year and bring another one back to Baton Rouge.

With Les's job on the line, don't be surprised if you see an LSU team you haven't seen since 2007.

Yep unfortunately so, he knows his back is against the wall. I see great things coming next year. He just has to turn over the offense in better hands and they need to not handle the offense with kidb gloves. Get them going early and instill confidence and ask should be well.

We lost two games in 2007. I don't want that again.

Nothing less than NC is acceptable at this point. Clemson had great effort, not enough chest. LSU has to slap the fricking inbreds in the fricking mouth next year. Beat them you can beat the rest. Hate em

These aren't unrealistic expectations. LSU will had its 3rd top 6 class in a row, one of the highest paid coaching staffs in CFB, and losing to Arkansas AND Ole Miss in back to back games is not something that should be accepted. Losing to them by multiple TDs is ridiculous. Fumbling around with the likes of Syracuse and Eastern Michigan is pitiful.

Then you look at the talent in the NFL and it's just filthy. Top round picks, starting RBs on 3 playoff teams, record breaking WRs, a pro bowl offensive lineman (Turner) plus several starting OL and a rookie making a name for himself. All pros on defense in the secondary, 4 starting linebackers on 4 different teams, several starting DL players, not including a rookie hybrid backup with 7 sacks. I mean it's just unbelievable the talent that has run through this place since 2007 (yes all these players I'm talking about have played at LSU AFTER 2007), yet LSU has 1 conference championship plus 1 conference championship berth, 1 national championship berth (including a sickening loss in it), and one season with less than 2 losses.

Since the last national championship win, LSU has lost at least 3 games in 6 of those 8 years. We have been to 3 big bowl games in Miles's 11 year tenure with 2 of them coming in the first 3 years. LSU's talent is second only to Bama in the SEC West. LSU has finished no better than 3rd in the West the past 3 years. Finishing 3rd, 5th, and 4th in you own division with the talent and expense LSU pays for coaching and recruiting, makes zero sense.

With what les and staff are paid that should never happen. Just proof that we have the wrong guy.

I feel ya. But as long as Miles is HC, it wont happen.

If he stays too long, we will need to rebuild the whole system.

How do you figure? They were pretty consensus #2 across the board, and with BCS. They would have danced.

And there-in is the travesty. LSU does more than just about any other program in putting great talent into the NFL. So great, LSU should be receiving stipends for what they do. (Potential) Players see that success. It just hasn't translated to great, cohesive team success in some time.

I don't understand what you frickers want. We have a coach that is a father figure to our players and he never yells at them. The players love playing for a great man.
