Every year LSU is set up to win. Problem is that with the play calling and mistakes such as penalties, clock mismanagement, unecessary timeouts etc.. LSU will cap out at 10 wins every year. Miles needs to take a pay cut with that production or leave. Also, don't throw out a negatiger comment. That probably is the dumbest term in the world. Critical thinking is not negative.

Terry Bowden, Tommy Tuberville and Phil Fulmer agree with this.

Please explain this rationale as it applies to the 2008 season.

Les just has to wake up and take a breath everyday to keep his job. Forget the "crazy" part...not gonna happen.

F Off.

You are stupid.
1. we play more games in a season.
2. We HAVE to schedule in-state schools and Tulane is no longer what they once were.
3. we played MOST of our games against our conference and not a lot of OOC.
4 YES -Look at the 1987 Schedule and get the frick back to me you dumb little frick.

An interesting tid bit of info is Miles has won a NC without a Heisman player. Since Les joined LSU he's never had the luxury of having Tebow, sCam Newton, or McElroy.

While we have some very good players, don't tell me we have a Heisman candidate being held down by Crowton. Cheatzik, Satan, and CUM had a lot of help. All Les has is douchebags for fans. If douchebag fans have as much positive impact on a team as a heisman candidate at the QB spot, Miles would be undefeated and win the west every season.

I think Les is doing a hell of a job with what he has.... (mainly looking at the QB spot).

Well, one year recently we did beat the team from the West who DID play in it.

All I know is that Chizik is much greater than Miles, b/c record is everything, and Miles has never come close to going undefeated.

Auburn > LSU
Chizik > Miles

Only thing Allbarn and Cheatzik is better at is cheating... but that went without saying.

Call me captain obvious.

None of those guys you listed will be the #1 overall pick in the NFL Draft.

This is the typical catch 22 where all Miles Maniacs fail. Most fans, even lukewarm to mildly anti-Miles, will concede that he is a great recruiter. Yet, your argument would imply that he is not.

i really can't understand this line of thinking. sure i want to represent the west. however, isn't the fourth different team from the s.e.c. going to the n.c. game? third from the west?

damn, no one is dominating this conference. lsu has never gone undefeated in the modern era, no matter who the coach is or was.

au will not go undefeated next year, i doubt bama will, i don't think we will, arkansas, well, maybe if mallet returns.

all you can do is compete and win games. a couple didn't go our way this year. hopefully the breaks go our way next year. When a guy throw's a hail mary, has it tipped, and there are three of your guys in the endzone to two of the theirs, however, they get the t.d., you know it's your day/year.

Are you a member of the "pos-Tiger" cult, because this is nega talk. Anyway, you didn't really address my question. If Miles is a recruiting savant, why don't we have a really good QB for the last 3 seasons?

i don't believe in positive tiger vs negatiger. i think all that is either you like or dislike miles. i try to be fair. i've been critical at times and positive a lot of times. this is a good year. no complaints.

as to the qb. i think miles "recuited" the qb position well. I don't think the kids, who were pretty high rated guys, turned out to be the guy's they thought. I look around and see three star guy's like matt ryan, drew breese, sam bradford succeed at the qb position and five star guys like xavier lee, ronald curry, e.j. manuel, brantley, gilbert, ect. not fair to well.

all a coach can do is recruit the best guy he can get. hopefully, he turns out to be a good one. the qb position is the most difficult to evaluate. pro's miss on the position all the time. only 50% of first round qbs succeed. if you blame a coach for missing on a qb then you have to blame all coaches. they all miss.

It was a good year. But I'll be disappointed if we don't win not just the West, but the SEC title outright next season. Otherwise, a recruiting class leaves LSU without having won one. We're overdue for that type of season.
