How long are y’all going to blame PM

As long as nitwits try to blame Jay Johnson for not being able to turn a bunch of mediocre baseball players he inherited into a CWS team.

CPM was 4-10 after his 1st 4 SEC series last year and out of the SEC Race with this same bunch of players so where is all this greatness Jay Johnson inherited? Where is it?

Very true. We can hit some nights against inferior arms but no match for SEC arms. And fielding and pitching is Southland-esque. Actually the Southland has better fielders and front line pitching than LsU.

It's Collier Cranford time at SS!

Cranford is only so-so defensively, and he's terrible at the plate. Fix Thompson's fielding. That's the solution. It's really his throwing that's the problem. They need to work on his mechanics, even if it slows his delivery a bit at first.

Should have closed with Fontenot.

That's the worst kind of hindsight. Reyzelman had been very effecting for an inning up until that point. He was the logical choice.
