Do you people honestly think they are going to put up a Burrow statue in the next 2 years? haha

Well, we have one of Cannon in Champions Plaza solely on his claim to fame as a Heisman Trophy winner.....so logic would dictate that there is no reason to delay putting Joe's up if/when he wins the trophy.

But he was a top-10 national recruit who signed with LSU when we were coming off six (6) straight losing seasons and shattered numerous LSU and SEC records, was an All-American and was instrumental in ushering in a new modern era of LSU football. His impact on the program was a similar type of paradigm shift as we are currently seeing with Burrow. He made it cool for Louisiana kids to go to LSU again.

Saban is what made it cool to go to LSU again.

Thought LSU had a policy that you had to have a degree from the University to have your number retired?
