For the record, Braun ended up as LSU’s first baseman and he finished with:
A better batting average than Larson
More home runs than Larson
Higher on base percentage than Larson
Higher slugging percentage than Larson
More runs scored than Larson
Larson probably wanted to go a place where he could start, and he found a great place to do that in Texas.

He hit .219 last season. I don’t think anyone would have put up with that around here. Worked out well without him last season.
Sure, they could use him this season, but wasn’t he playing some games in RF? I don’t know.
