As you watch this historically bad team. Remember administration did this on purpose

Completely bundled the handling of the Will Wade situation then tanked the basketball program intentionally to “save football” or some shite.
I’m not saying we 100% had to keep Wade, but we 100% didn’t have to intentionally torpedo the basketball program.

Okay, so even accepting the idea that “Wade had to geaux”
Firing him right before the tournament after defending him for years and sending the message that the school will not have the players or coaches back did not have to happen.
As far as “Woodward protected LSU”. Well he sure as hell didn’t protect the men’s basketball program.

I don’t blame the AD on the Wade firing even though I liked him. I blame him on the MM hire though. It looked like a good hire but I have seen no improvement at all on this team. His recruiting sucks so far too and that is worrisome. I said from the beginning give him 3 years but after seeing him this year I changed it to two years.

Sure I’m admitting that, still didn’t have to publicly execute his career and throw the whole team under the bus like we did.
Why the hell would a high level coach or recruit want to come here? The school has shown it doesn’t have your back and will ruin you if necessary

So then why did they wait till literally the worst possible moment?
Firing him a month earlier or just after the season was over would have been WAY better
