6 have been runner ups

According to you this doesnt matter so why are you even bringing it up?

I wouldn’t say LSU’s one runner up was anything special

Yet it's special for 5 other teams. 2 of which were coached by the 2 coaches you have already mentioned

Corbin and O’Sullivan didn’t walk into the same situation as PM. LSU was still a top 5 program .

No it was not.

This revisionist history is pathetic. There's a reason why the roster from 2007 was completely different from the one in 2008. Mainieri had to process a lot of Smoke's shite recruits.

No you don’t get it. Top 5 “program”
Regardless of what any other school is doing, LSU is the number one baseball program because of what Skip Bertman did. Don’t you know we are entitled to this?

And we won the series today. The way this joker is carrying on, you'd think we got swept.

I swear some of these guys just wait for the baseball team, crap it could be any LSU sporting team, to drop a game and they pounce. It's bizarre.

Entertaining but bizarre.

Exactly. People that complaining about dropping a game but winning a series don’t know anything about baseball.

Over the last 10 years Indiana has made the college World Series, has had 2 40+ win seasons, won 2 conference championships, and have regular made regionals. Sweeping a quality team like this is going to be tough regardless of how good your team is.

Finally this is literally 1st Series. These are the games about finding out who you can trust in certain situations and how to best maximize your lineup. All of these are unknowns until you put players in situations. The OOC series are all about preparing your lineup for conference and post season play.

You may be right.

But if you are right, it is not because of something that happened today, you mental midget.

Not be good situational hitting as a team. Will run ourselves out of innings and make lots of base running mistakes. We will not react quick enough to when our pitchers are about to crater. Paul w I'll play favorites.

Continue to have Milesesque success.

Regularly competitive.
Frustrating and inexplicable losses.
Underperform in postseason.
Never win another NC.
