there is no way they'll ever be able to beat Bama with Saban there. Thats what a lot of you idiots said earlier this season. Well, sorry to hurt all your feelings, but Les Miles and staff, outcoached Saban and his bunch.

Does yesterday's result negate all of the idiocy an chaos wrought by LM and his staff? Do those facts disappear? I think not. He did appear to make some good in game adjustments for the first time in many moons, but it does not change much otherwise. Same goes for Mr. Jefferson IMHO.

Well, considering the former quote has been posted 10,000 times, I'd say we got about 2 thousand posts left to geaux....as Coach Miles would say: "Let er' rip!!!"

Enough, Damn! We get it. There are people on here that talk out of their arse! Several jackasses can't help but deal in absolutes and hyperbole. That will NEVER change. It irritates me too, but are you saying that it isn't possible to go through your post history and find a few comments that you were wrong about?

Well you have to admit that les is the most heavily criticized coach in America - all coaches have weaknesses - for example saban burned through all of his timeouts, Meyer cant coach his team up and win without tebow, and rich rod can't adjust to his talent and level o competition, and Brian kelly is flat out a bad decision maker and loses to teams with much less talent. Les has these boy at 8-1 and that's the only thing that matters

He has actually played saban tough for all 4 yrs. It's the other games that I get concerned about..especially the one coming against Nutt

Yes part of the fun of a board like this is gloating when your arguments are proven right. If you are going to be SO passionate about your opinion, as the Miles haters most assuredly were, you must be prepared to eat crow when it blows up in your face.
I understand that Miles genius is hard for the average fan to understand. He is certainly NOT run of the mill. Most people put too much stock in X's and O's and schemes and seem to think guys like Saban or Meyer have magic coaching ability that no one else can ever match. Schemes and game plans are overrated. You can put a player in the PERFECT position to make a play. A block, a tackle a catch or a kick...but in the end that player still has to actually make that play...and making that block/tackle/catch/throw is made with heart, courage and will!
Football is a caveman game that is played mostly at a visceral level. This is where Miles is a genius coach. He instills the courage, he makes them believe in themselves and teaches them not to fear the big moment...to play with passion and heart. This is what makes Miles great, and hopefully the Miles haters will be able to realize now what those of us who love him as a coach already knew!!
