How good could this team be? They have played a terrible first half with just enough defense to still be in the game. Stupid turnovers and missed shots at the goal. And still tied at the half!

They have to quit giving them second chances.

They have the talent of a final four team. Discipline and maturity just not there yet.

We’re tied because we’re playing fantastic defense

I think the Sims situation kind of stunted their growth. That happened the night before camp started m

We are tied at halftime on the road against a top 20 team and have committed 10 turnovers and given up 10 ORB. An immature team would be getting their doors blown off with those stats. Our players are mature enough and disciplined enough to keep playing hard on the defensive end of the floor even when shots aren't falling. That's actually a sign of maturity.

The missing element to me is leadership. Who is their Devin White. Sorry, i don't think it's Waters. As good as he is he makes too many stupid mistakes at the wrong time. Not what a leader does. Mays looks to subdued all The time. Thought it might be KBW but he had a horrible game last time out. This team needs someone to step up at the leadership position.

Is it only me? I have an extremely hard time watching this team. I constantly switch my attention to something else.

defense has been good. rebounding got better near end of half. need entire half of crashing boards and stop with the stupid turnovers and we win this game. Should be up by 8 - 10.Oh, and finish at the goal.

I get what you're saying. This team has more maturity and discipline than given credit. The difference is, if they had a little more maturity, we wouldn't be turning the ball over 10 times in the first half. I get that it's a tough environment, and i'm not knocking the team in anyway.

I think this team makes a deep run in the NCAA tourny, no matter what happens tonight. You can see them getting better every game.

Lazy ball control and passing has been an issue and looks like won’t be getting better anytime soon

I'm impressed with how hard we are playing, but we have too many knucklehead plays and some are by experienced guys.

We have no one to settle things down. It's all helter skelter.

Bigby and Taylor have been animals though. We need the guards to get in sync with the two big guys and Naz.

Start of half is big.

Agreed. Last year's team would be down 15 at half, much like the trips to UT and Auburn last year. This year's team plays aweful and is still tied.
