I feel that we are entitled to some sort of apology and/or explaination for the mud slide that has been the LSU football program the past week or so. At the very least, Miles needs to adress the rumors. Though they are simply rumors, they negatively affect the program as well as the reflect badly on the school in general. Now I'm not saying Miles needs to come out and beg for forgiveness ect. But, the repercussions of not addressing these issues could be much worse than the alternative, "silent treatment". The tiger faithful are passionate, and honestly, irrational at times (myself included). That being said, if enough boosters and alumni/season ticket holders start screaming for Miles' head to be on the chopping block, it will subsequently happen. Now, I'm not saying Miles needs to be fired, but if he isn't careful, that's what people will call for and what could put his team stuck in the crossfire. A fan base is part of a team, without their support, the program fails to function at the high level we have become familiar with. Tread careful Les...

Um, the "mud slide" has NOT been the LSU football program, but rather absurd fan reaction to a loss.

When have you EVER witnessed a coach "speak to the masses" following a 13-1 season, or any season for that matter, as you seem to want Miles to do? Seriously, when?

Miles isn't going anywhere. We were 13-1.

Don't disagree with you on this. Would be nice to put and end to it so everyone can move on.

Yes your school game me a degree, one I'm proud of also. I'm not saying I personally believe Miles has done a poor job. 13-1 is th best season in our history. I'm saying the majority of the 96k plus people that fill up that stadium are PISSED and want an explanation. I personally feel like he would be wise to listen. That's all.

I still want an apology for that UAB loss in 2000

you are correct.

why would we fire the first coach to go 13-0? Beating Saban 3 times in a row would have been just icing on top.

I get that everyone is looking for some explanation as to what happened in the NC game, but it's completely insane the way many in this fan base have latched on to these rumors about Miles and players revolting. Yet they refuse to believe any rumors about Lee.
It isn't about whether or not these rumors are true, these fans/posters want to believe that something terrible happened and want Miles to be held accountable for it.
