Hogs will play tough, but LSU will use a familiar formula...power run O, stingy D, and laser accurate punting. Hogs get wore arse out and LSU pulls away late 3rd quarter and wins it by 17 or more.

184yds is a deceptive number. We usually start with a very short field.

True, but I think Lee makes your power run game better.

Stats say otherwise, FWIW.

We had some less than stellar games, particularly aTm...

That said, Bequette and Wright weren't playing...They have BOTH been back and starting since UT...

They've really produced since coming back

You realize that you played UT with a true frosh making his first start and MSU's abomination of an offense during that span, right?

Arkansas' defense will be better now than it was against Bama, but not significantly IMO. LSU is multidimensional and has playmakers all over the offense like Bama did.

You guys gave up 28 points to USCe's anemic Lattimoie-less offense. You gave up 28 points (and should've given up more if not for the redzone fumble) and 222 rushing yards to freaking Vandy.

Your team is completely different away from home. I don't know what it is, but in all 4 road games to date, you've given up 26+ points every time, and 2 times to mediocre offenses in Vandy and Ole Miss.

i think i've heard this 3 or 4 straight years. they seem to slow us down though. last year, we beat ourselves with our screw ups in the secondary right before the half. arky will be in tune with our running game; we will have to throw the ball to loosen 'em up.

Arkansas' last performance against a comparable O-Line

We went into that game without one of our starting DE's, and then during the first minutes of the game we lost our other starting DE. Not to mention that was our first test of the season. Hogs are at full strength now with almost a full season under their belts. Not saying LSU won't have success running the ball, but you can't put too much stock into the Ark-Bama game.

Didn't your DE Beckitt get hurt the other day too? Did he come back in the game?

184 yards is not that impressive to a fan who routinely watches his team's QB throw for 300+. But I get it, in LSU's run-oriented offense 184 yards passing is a good day.

And even if you outgain us, it doesn't make you a better team (if you lose by 3 touchdowns...)

I am looking past Arkansas to playing Georgia in the SEC championship game. After all Alabama beat the crap out of Arkansas and we beat Alabama...stands to reason we beat the piggies. Just saying.

Jefferson and Lee are better at throwing the ball this year, and dont you know with Jeff we can switch from the power running game to the spread run game? our D is too good and we can play nickel all day and prevent you from doing any downfield passing, and that dink and dunk shite will be the only way you score points imo. Johnson isn't in the same league as Trent and he will get stuffed just like:

Dyer/McCalleb
Ballard
L. James/K. Barner
Demps/Rainey

We are built like Bama and we beat Bama. You can make it close, but you wont win.

I just wanted to bump this. Once again, that Arkansas run D caused their downfall.
