I like these guys. I think for the most part they are fair and unbiased. I enjoy listening to them more than listening to Lynn.

i caught some of the friday game in the car. And a certain lsu play by play announcer was in rare form.
He says, "And there is strike three.....oh no? Did he not call it? Ok, then now its 2 and 2." Then the next pitch the batter walked. Jim then blamed the scoreboard for not showing the proper count on how someone walked with on a 2-2 count.
He blamed the scoreboard about 5 more times for his mistakes over a 2-3 inning stretch.

to be fair the arkansas guys had the same issue with the homeplate ump friday. he was slow on his strike calls

No, these guys were jackasses. They made several calls that were just retarded. Last night, Ibarra sliding into first. He says that it is faster to run through the bag...well no shite, but he was avoiding the tag. Also, like a previous poster stated, almost immediately suggested that ball hit dirt and not chalk. And all the plays of the game this and that given away in the first three innings.
