Oh wow, Pearson sucking in the middle of the lineup. Must be a day that ends in Y.

Dude should only come in to bat in clutch situations

That may be it for Root. He can come back, but he’s not at his best at this point. We actually made him work that inning.

If this entire team took Freys approach at the plate root would have been out last inning

Flatbill caps are still awful. I'll die on this hill.

This offense is so bad. For as much shite as some post on Yeskie, we pitch better than we hit.

He has been pitching with a lot of stress ever since the damn 135 pitch game a month ago thanks to lack of offense and bullpen help. Tonight he was laboring through stressful battles in a lot of humidity with god knows how much routine being thrown off by weather after one less days rest due to more weather issues. And he’s been dealing with weather screwing up his routine almost every week since that 135 pitch OU game. Eventually things can be a cumulative effect. It’s no perfect science or the sport would have eliminated the injuries by now with the money thrown at MLB players. Instead it is actually increasing insanely. We have probably played with a fire a bit all season that led to this. We started working him early in the season at a pace that you usually are not working your ace at until the stretch run when you know which game truly means a lot or is postseason.

Now of course it may have had no effect but it certainly didn’t help

say we let him hit. He's due.

Unfortunately, the game of baseball doesn't really give a damn if someone's due.

10 of 16 SEC teams in terms of hitting. This team cannot hit good pitching

The double may not have made him work, but it pushed him toward the dugout just as much.

Can’t string hits together, which is why Jay bunts all the time.

Arkansas defense is playing well too. few good plays that have absolutely kept us from
breaking through.

Arkansas bullpen is pretty good.

Not sure getting this guy out is too much of an advantage.
