I'm one of the most superstitious people you'll ever meet. Like most of you I always wear the same attire because I think it's good lukc. When in reality I've lost like 4 games while wearing it. It's one game a year against a not very good team so why can't you just wear it? People at UGA and PSU all wear black or white and it's awesome. I think gold would look awesome too but 50% of the stadium won't wear it.

The LSU fan base is not about gimmicky crap. We are about TRADITION. This is why GOLD-OUT or WHITE-OUT or whatever will never be endorsed fully by the fans.

1) Yes we're more NE than MW...in fact I'm still one of the people that thought joining the Big 10 was a mistake. I'd so much rather play our geographical rivals more than teams like Purdue and Minnesota 
.
2) The tents outside the stadium start at the beginning of the week and will go all week long. They basically create a city of tents called "Paternoville." Yeah not the most original name but it's still kinda cool.
3) The white out is great. There was a time where we started to become more "big house" like (107,000 fans and you can hear a pin drop) but of course winning more games cures all that. I have been to almost all of the white outs but I remember the one against the Bucknuts in 2005 the most. It was freezing cold, raining like hell and nasty but it was one of the most physical games we have ever played and we punched the Bucks in the mouth that night. Hoping for more of the same tonight vs Illinois.
Good luck against Moo U...not that you guys really need it.
