It's a tough call. Hale has done well at third. I wanna see Grayson a little more too though.

Yeah it's really not too late in the season to plug guys in there and do some experimentation. Alot of baseball left.

When Stevenson swung at the first pitch from the reliever I wanted to break something.

we are nearing the halfway point. it would be nice to have the lineup settled soon.

You weren't the only one... My new new lineup version 26.c.3:

Byrd 2B
Laird RF
Bregman SS
Scivicque C
Hale 3B
Stevenson CF
Foster DH
Zardon 1B
Fraley LF

Byrd and Krob in the lineup? That would be a completely opposite direction of where PM has been going. I just can't see it happening.

Nah. You can go one of two ways if Byrd can play the corner IMO:

Bryd - 3rd
Hale - 1st
Foster - 2nd
Chinea - DH

or

Byrd - 3rd
Hale - 2nd
Zardon - 1st
Foster - DH

I prefer the former.

These are okay, but you really want Hale at the most needed defensive spot. I'm actually fine with this but it will never happen:

Zardon 3B
Hale 2B
Byrd 1B

I liked Danny at 3B. He had one bad game and 11 good ones with some great plays thrown in. Never should have tinkered with him, IMO

Flip Zardon and Fraley and I like it. I never even though about Byrd at the top.

I think Hale is all but cemented at a corner spot at this point.

Yeah that was just utterly ridiculous. That's not even having a plan up there. Same with everybody mind Bregman. And I sometimes wonder wtf he's doing up there.

I'm good with them either way. But yeah, should probably switch them.

He's still hitting them hard almost every AB. I've been so impressed. It hasn't been just fastballs either.

Bregman and scivique have been on a tear. I really like their approach. Bregman is going to make some money next year.

That's CPM's plan. If we haven't scored runs midway through the game....be aggressive. Anytime the offense struggles, the answer is "start hacking when you leave the on deck circle". The man has no patience.
