I'd argue, he probably only needs to be (and with our talent there's really no reason for him to be anything more than) a little bit less conservative and consistent on offense to get us back on top.

i agree

but he continues to demand conservative gameplans year in, year out

he also refuses to put good teams away. he loves to play soft with a big lead and let teams back in (he's not the only one though. even saban and tressel do this)

Not at all, hes awful, he should have lost at least 4 games this season, and we can go way back and start counting the close wins. He will somehow screw up LSU season next year as they are bound for the ship. If he looses to A$m, all you guys would be feeling completely different.

do you think LSU will be as lucky, year in, year out, as we were against UNC, UTenn, and UF?

I will render judgement when I find out what it took to get him to stay. An eight win clause would be a disgrace in my opinion.

Yes, and we may be surprised that with a pro-style QB, GC may just be the Wizard again!

Yes, I am pleased. The most successful coach in LSU history, one of the most succesful coaches in the history of the SEC. He isn't perfect, but it it hard to argue with the won-loss record.

While I do not agree with everything Miles has done.

miles has a whole lot to fix, but there is uncertainty with a new hire

That's pretty much how I feel. With Miles, I think we know what we're getting into. We know we're never going to be truly awful but it's not likely we're going to be great very often either. With a new coach there was hope for greatness but there was also the possibility we'd completely suck arse for a few years before going through it all over again. So yeah, it's a mixed bag.

Les has the best winning percentage of any coach in LSU's history who has coached for more than a handful of games, ergo, the most successful coach in LSU's history.

absofreakinlutely!!!!! He may be a little strange and may have made some unwarrented mistakes in the past...but NO coach is perfect.

He has the LSU Football Program on the right track and has done a helluva job not only recruiting, but recruiting quality athlete's that have the desire and commitment to excel academically, set a very positive example as to what it means to be an LSU Football Player and always seem to play as a team and not as an individual.

I think this program has an extremely bright future!!!!
