I’m just glad we are already realizing we are in a golden age (with QBs) now rather than realizing it 5-10 yrs after it’s gone lol

Those late Miles teams with literally anyone semi-comptent at QB would have been trouble
Many of them were more than competent, they were just forced to play in and operate a shite scheme and were provided with even shittier development, coaching and play calling.
Andrew Luck would’ve looked turrible had he played for Miles.

The system and coaching were bad, but guys like Jennings, Harris, and Finley are not good players under any circumstance.

Hell you could even argue that Max Johnson on some of those Miles teams would’ve been a major upgrade at QB.

Jennings and Harris may have been the most dogshit QBs in recent history.

Probably so until the option offense returns

Considering that we just had two Heisman Trophy winners, I would say yes.

Etling was serviceable. More of a field...well I wouldn't call him a general. Maybe a field lieutenant.
I rank him just above Hatch. Nowhere near mettenberger

Once weak at recruiting QB and OL, now going crazy good

I’d take Etling over Max Johnson
