Can Ohio State lose a game ? this year? Appears to me that that will have to happen for us to have a chance for the NC assuming we win out?
Plenty of talking heads are already saying a 1 loss LSU would pass up an undefeated tOSU.

Regarding Louisville losing tonight, that had ZERO bearing on the BCS CG. Louisville would need every team to have TWO losses to have any hope. Hell, they were already being passed over by 1 loss teams...

I know, I hate it when everyone talks us up, and makes a big deal out of our games.

I think everyone knew that. It's just nice now though that we can stop hearing about them and they won't be able to bitch.

LSU should be #5 in the BCS with Louisville and Florida State/Clemson losing 1. Alabama 2. Oregon 3. Clemson/Florida State 4. Ohio State 5. LSU

Alabama loses to lsu
Oregon loses to Stanford or ucla
FSU/Clemson winner loses to Miami
Osu loses to michigan

Lsu versus Oregon
Lsu versus FSU/Clemson winner if everyone else loses
Lsu versus osu if everyone except osu loses

I'd say there's a shot (slim but possible) LSU is 4 in the BCS with a W Saturday. Ohio State's schedule is a freaking joke. Go Iowa. If LSU wins out, they definitely pass OSU, moving at least to 3. We would need either FSU/Clemson or Oregon to lose IMO. If that happens...see ya in Pasadena.

I completely agree with this. LSU is likely to pass tOSU if we win out and win the SEC Championship Game. In regards to the other undefeated after the Clem/FlaSt, someone will lose. Happens almost every year.

Clemson closes with SC, plus possibility of ACC Championship Game

FSU closes with UF, with possibility of ACC Championship Game

Oregon plays Stanford, UCLA, and PAC12 Championship Game

Ohio State has Iowa, Penn St, and Michigan

There may be 0 undefeateds.

Louisville game did help because LSU was behind them in the coaches and Harris polls.

I don't see LSU passing an undefeated ohio state. I just don't see the media allowing it. The rest of the nation is tired of the SEC dominance and they know if they let an SEC school in the championship game it will be another SEC national title. The computers would really have to drop ohio state a lot for LSU to pass them.

We won't pass them in the human polls.

By the end of the year will ohio have anyone on their schedule ranked in the top 25?

does anybody refer to the rebels as black bears?
what are our chances of beating Bama and then the following week beating TAM. Uphill battle at best but if we were able to pull it off and thus win the west beat the east in sec champ game i dont see how we could be passed over for spot in the NC game. If we beat bama, Tam and winner in east then we deserve the spot. Of course we got to wind today over the black bears.

With Clemp's son or Florida State geauxing down on Saturday night, do we get the #5 in the BCS rankings on Sunday?

As long as we win, I'd say yes. Clemson or Florida will fall out the top five, but likely remain in the top ten.
