Are Marucci bats still best?

Are they still manufactured the same way since Marucci sold the company?

Now this a scapegoat I can get behind

Demarini is the best.
But Crews and Beloso sure could swing the Marucci though. Jobert, Morgan and Dugas too now that I think of it. But the Gators use Demarini and I think it’s obvious we need to switch. You may be on to something that most would find absurd. But a change could at minimum spark confidence.

I agree, ever since they quit sacrificing chickens to Jobu at the factory the pop in the bats are missing a little something.

Eh not necessarily anymore. The Voodoo One was the standard for a while, but other bats have caught up. The “best” does tend to fluctuate a little now.
Demarini actually has another bat called “The Goods” that is excellent. But right now Louisville Slugger’s “Atlas” or their “Select PWR” and Rawlings “Icon” are probably better.
But the Marruci CatX is fine, definitely better than their Cat9 and more in line with the Voodoo Ones.

Maybe the OP should change his handle while we’re at it

Don't you have to at least touch the ball to find out about the bat? Kling's should look brand new

Jones hit a ball 425’ today. We hit three HRs last night. The bats are not keeping us from hitting singles and doubles which is what we need too.

Louisville Slugger is by far the better bat. Go watch the Bat Brothers on youtube. Atlas is an amazing bat.

Imagine the damage Carrie Underwood could’ve caused with the Atlas

Louisville slugger bats gives a far better arsenal of options

How far would it go if Bear used the Old school Silver and green Easton bat

This is the BBCOR era. What bat you use doesn’t really make that much of a difference. Good hitters can hit with whatever bat they’re using.

Big Ben said during the broadcast the bats these days are too hot

The bats are fine, and performance isn't why teams use certain bats. It all depends on what bat company will pay the school. LSU would switch in a heartbeat to another bat company if they paid them.
