Didn't watch, but I will never understand how they had him the #1 overall recruit. He didn't even impress in High School. A #1 overall recruit, especially QB, should really standout in HS IMO. Maybe one day Arch will be great, but I don't see it yet.

Going to Newman has NOTHING to do with Arch’s CFB performance or lack there of. It has EVERYTHING to do with ESPN and the media promoting this kid as the next Joe Montana. They even had him listed as the preseason Heisman favorite with no quality stats from last year to back it up. It was all Hype. I watched Arch play 3 times live in HS. He has always been erratic and head-scratching with his passes.
