We don’t need some stinking outsider telling us about our team.

Excuse #1

Delpit's injury is obviously hurting him. He can't move good on it yet.

Excuse #2

We've missed Todd Harris ALL year.

Excuse 3

We don't have a commander at MLBer.

Excuse #4

Divinity is no longer out there

Excuse #5

Aranda has been trying different schemes against these lesser teams all year

Excuse #6

Ole Miss has a top 10 rush offense in the country. They rushed for 279 on Bama.

Excuse #7

We have never been in jeopardy of losing a game

Excuse #8

IT'S OLE MISS!! COMING OFF OF A BAMA WIN!!

Guess who gets PAID 2.5 MILLION a year to NOT have excuses for a $#!TTY DEFENSE!

6. Coming into this game, LSU had a top 10 rush defense IN THE COUNTRY - I'm curious, what/who do you guys contribute this to?

I'm trying to look at it on the bright side, for once. We could become the first team in history to win a National Championship after giving up 400 yards rushing in a game.

Coach O really needs to hang on to those stud defensive commits and land Webb and at least one more (like Burch). Anyone who thinks we shouldn't drop Max Johnson for a stud LBer or DT didn't watch the game last night.

You're wasting your breath (or finger movement). They're not gonna listen.

Just accept that a large majority of the LSU fanbase is a bunch of fricking retarded nimrods.

Physically weak and that appears to be a couple of year trend on both sides of the trenches.
Why? Is there an adult making huge $$ responsible for strength and conditioning as well as an adult making big $ given the task of player development or do we blame all the players for this too??

If OSU is sooooooo much better why are you so worried and lurking on LSU board so much trying to argue OSU is so much better?
GTFO and go back to your Big 10 boards and just wait and see if you can beat LSU and Burrow

KosmoCramer has been a regular poster here since the national championship game in 2007. He's an LSU fan (after OSU) and a knowledgeable football fan. Grow up, little boy.

No they weren't. You're just making things up now.

There is only 3 of them. They're designed to plug up the OL and let LBs make plays. The LBs played like utter shite.

Ole Miss couldn't get jack shite up the middle last night, so no, the DL wasn't getting pushed back.

The DTs job in a 3-4 defense is hold the line so OL can't combo block to a linebacker.

That wasn't happening.

They were getting pushed easily off the line and not occupying the OL letting them slide to the 2nd level.

It was plain as day.

This isn't about Aranda, it's about the players.
the true measure of a great coach is what they do with lesser players. Hell, even I could be a competent DC if I had an entire roster of elite players.

Aranda should earn that huge salary by putting an effective D on the field despite holes in the roster.

And you're blaming the players, but remind me - whose job is it to recruit, develop, and motivate our defensive players?

D line is main issue. No big time players and no quality depth. Next year will be an improvement

Our defense has been suspect for some time. Time for Aranda to step up or step out!

402 man. You can't twist that to fit your narrative no matter how you try. No way a "great" run stopping dline gives up 400+ sorry

Stats tell you what happened they don’t tell you why it happened. We’re slow on D, we have 6 starters playing injured including the entire secondary minus Stevens. There’s nothing a DC can do about personnel, there’s no call that makes players faster or more healthy, no call that can improve depth.

That has nothing to do with my post. I'm just saying there was nothing great about our dline stopping the run last night. The why is irrelevant

shockingly simplistic view.

The "we're 10-0 so we don't need to try to identify weaknesses and get better" attitude is disgraceful.

Not really. Didn’t happen last week. Doesn’t happen most weeks.
