2 Alabama (1-0) 2 SEC 1,493
3 Georgia (2-0) 3 SEC 1,407
4 Oklahoma (2-0) 4 Big 12 1,337
5 Ohio State (2-0) 5 Big Ten 1,270
6 LSU (2-0) 6 SEC 1,233

It’s college football. The AP poll will always be a point of interest. It’s the measure of the best teams this early in the season.

These polls have a large popularity component. Voters don’t see most games and only look at scores.

I don’t think Texas should drop at all. I think it’s bullshite when a team loses to a team ranked ahead of them and looked good but still drops.
Meanwhile a team who has played nobody will move in front of them. Shouldn’t be penalizing teams that play a tough game out the gate while bama doesn’t play anybody until conference play.
