It must feel bad to be a BCS school knowing that despite having to travel 2000 miles, coming off disappointing year, and being somewhat unsure of the QB and defensive situations, that your opponent still doesn't want to open up their playbook and give anything away to the "real" teams on their schedule...after you.

Yeah, that "coach" we had in the early '90s, whose name always escapes me, he won 2 games in 1992 (and I've said it before, and I'll say it again, that must have been some kind of bad Mississippi State team to lose 24-3 to our lovable bunch of losers that year.)

Ya know, I've got a dog at home that weighs 130 lbs. When strangers come to the house, the hair on the back of her neck stands straight up, she lowers her head, pulls her tail straight and growls fiercely. She can make herself look and sound fearsome.
To this day, she has never bitten anyone and never will. Everyone in the neighborhood knows it, so very few, if any, are scared of her.
We know the growl of puffed-up porch hounds. We've heard it before and we've made 'em all STFU under Les. Washington's only hope is some kind of emergency that postpones the game till 2012.

Probably what Appalachian State was thinking last year . . .

The game has been over since the schedule came out.

Yes while anything can happen in college Football, the big differance here is LSU is hungry, they have a bad taste in ther mouth from last year and will take one game at a time. USC & Michigan were riding high and lost focus. Trust us Les Miles will have the Tigers focused

Just like Utah was about to experience the brute force of an SEC team, right?
One, you're not Utah. Two, Les Miles does not lose bowl games or OOC games at LSU. The Tigers own the longest OOC win streak in the country at 19 IIRC.

It's the season opener. If it was the 5th game of the year sandwiched between Georgia and Florida, I'd say yeah, we better be careful. Season openers are NEVER taken lightly.

What the hell does MemphisJerk know about the BCS? I didn't even know Memphis had a team until a few years ago. When it comes time for bowl season, memphis is stuck back in their shite eatin' cess pool they call home watching great teams like us.

I have to admit, I am surprised by the volatility and aura of invincibility many LSU fans here are currently sporting. If anything, I thought that 5 losses last year would have at least instilled a sense of humility in some of you.
No doubt LSU has been one of the premiere programs of the past decade. However, you guys were down by, what, 20+ points at home to Troy? Now, yes, LSU did come back...but the fact that you got that far behind to that kind of team indicates some severe issues, which didn't seem to get fixed last year as the season progressed. Whose to say those problems have been eliminated completely?
Maybe we will lose by 40 points. But, I think a lot of you will be surprised come September 5th when in the 4th quarter, it is till a one to two possession game. A lot of our fans are extremely excited. This, to us, is our "bowl" game, and CSS will have the boys ready to play, no doubt. ;)
With that said, I hope those of you coming up here enjoy Seattle!

So, just keep in mind, our Huskies will be ready, and with all the trouble and question marks with your team, don't be surprised if we're step for step with you for the majority of the game.
what are these said troubles and question marks? you guys didn't win a game last year. i think yall are the ones looking for answers.
