Anyone who pays attention to recruiting could see this coming a mile away

While the rest of you sunshine pumpers are sitting back angry and confused what happened. Most of you guys don’t live in reality and think southeastern and McNesse defensive backs could bring this team to the playoffs or a SEC title. We don’t have near the talent we had in the Les Miles days. We lose so many recruiting battles and people just blow it off like it’s no big deal because we can coach them up. Well I hope you enjoyed last night and Arkansas. We tried to say I told you so. The team will only be worse next year with less talent.

I'm doing my part. I just increased my subscription tier for bayou tradishuns to the presidential executive package so that should get us an extra 3 star

Well I’m seeing 5 star players play like 1 stars and 3 star players playing like 5 stars..not many but a few…

While I agree recruiting hasn’t been great, last nights showing wasn’t because lack of talent. We are more talented than Ole Miss. the scheme on defense, with guys being out of position or not ready when ball is snapped was the issue.

We are missing on a lot unranked in state talent. Which is why Tulane has come back to somewhat relevance. Better local evaluators of talent.

Full Jr season highlights. Several of those runs are against teams with SEC recruits on defense. Not playing boondock 2 a schools.
Torn ACL in the second game of the season so he’s under the radar still, Tulane has been on him hard since his sophomore year because they pay attention to local high school talent not just the national lists.
The top 10 ranked players in the state of LA every year are not always the true top 10.

I dont disagree. Mason shouldn't be starting, since he's working his way back to normal. Jefferson should as he's earned it. And Harris, thought played okay, no big beats in coverage, but could have forced 4th and 5 on their side of field to end the game. Just answering the question.
Weeks wasn't a 3 star by the end, but he was a very low rated 3 star before his sr yr, and was a great get by the staff.

Burns, Harris , Welch, Perkins, Ryan, smith , Jones, Guillory are all upperclassmen 4 and 5*s
Toviano, weeks, Yaites, Womack - all freshmen 4 and 5*
The talent is there to be avg to good

People are definitely whistling through the graveyard on recruiting. “Oh it doesn’t matter they didn’t sign this guy, someone else will come along”.
