the next year stuff really shouldn't be acceptable in baseball. We should be good pretty much every single year. Paul has had a few bad slips since his nc.

I'd like to see us score one damn run in this Alabama series. Just one would be a nice start.

I know the phrase is said a lot around here with other sports but with next year's baseball team, it's very true.

Let me guess, cause you just know, right.

If Paul couldn't win it last year with the talent on that team, he'll never another one.

And who would you get to replace him? There are only a handful of guys better than him and they ain't leaving where they're at.

UVA coach.

1 win in Omaha since 09 doesn't cut it. If you support Mainieri, you support mediocrity and only prolong his tenure. The program is floundering and needs new life. Go make a home run hire. This is lsu baseball.

He is not leaving UVA. And since when is consistently making it to Omaha mediocre?

There's a lot of people on here that have no clue what that word actually means.

CPM isn't going anywhere compare what he has done recently to the other major coaches. Also some of you act like making Omaha is nothing and should happen every year. Do you expect lsu football to make it to a January 6 bowl game every year? Because that is actually easier than making Omaha in baseball. CPM seems to be a top 8 seed year after year. He isn't going anywhere and he is doing a good job as a coach. This fan base has gotten spoiled by 2003-2009. South Carolina missed the tourney last year and they are still a top notch SEC baseball program. Doesn't matter what we do this year we are still near the top when it comes to baseball.

CPM has been here for what? 9 years? In that time you could argue he has put together the most talented team in the country in 4 of those years. That's not "mediocre". That's really fricking good.
