No, ive seen JJ personally and you can tell he's gunna be good, judging by how the carries himself on the field.

so you are defending the co-defensive coordinator decision last season ?

I don't know, were they responsible for KW not getting more playing time?

No. I was talking about the tools they bring to their position.

it was a joke...

I already said, basically, that JJ will be a Herb Tyler +10.

comparing JJ to Herb is about like comparing Randall Cunningham to Kordell Stewart

he has shown quality leadership (no, I'm not Les). And his experience winning championships in high school is a big plus. The accuracy problem in drills is a concern, as is the 2 fumbles in the spring game.

Yeah that 274 yards per game rushing was subpar.....the boys could run the football!!!!

It just so happen they met a team pissed off and backed into a corner.....

GT 2008 was in the top 10 in the NCAA rushing the football.........That doesn't happen by accident.

All of the hyperbole in the world can not erase the fact that when we shut down their running game they couldn't complete a pass to save their lives. No team can be one dimensional and be expected to be called a good team. NO ONE.

Randall started over Russell. So what does that say about Russell when he was a Fresh/Soph.

Tell that Nebraska in the 90s............Hyperbole?

Your fishing bro........GT wasn't stopped until they met us and luckily we had 4 weeks to gameplan.............

I've got a pretty good feeling he's going to be OK, maybe not great and flawless, but pretty coolheaded and able to manage the game. Obviously, debates about this will wax and wane all season. KC.

I liked Randall, he played hard and created some things for us, but just didn't have the talent to cut it as a QB. Noodle for an arm.

That being said, if JJ is worse that Randall, that would be a damn Nightmare! I sure hope to hell not.

Compared to Randall and Tyler ? Only ? What is the basis for comparing him only to these two former QB's ?
Tyler? The OP never mentioned Tyler? Where are you getting this?

I disagree solely on the grounds that Herb is not a fair analogy to either Cunningham or Stewart. Herb was a fairly gifted athlete who did a great job of making the most of his talents. He was also pretty consistently very good, but rarely awesome. Cunningham had similar consistency, but at a significantly higher level of performance. And Stewart had high levels of performance similar to Cunningham's, but was nowhere near the same planet in terms of consistency. Stewart would be much better analogized as Marcus Randall (performance wise; not necessarily specific-tools wise), imo.

i think jefferson has that natural leadership quality found only with the greats , i less concerned about his play than i am about Miles giving pick six lee playing time
