Had we been in the Cap 1 bowl. Miles would have been dissed for a week 'til Harbaugh made his move. Miles would have stayed. Crowton would have been sent packing, and we'd be in much better shape for next year.

Right now, we're in turmoil.

I went to Cap1 last year and Cotton this year. The experience is almost incomparable. There were no 3" flood in the concession area at JW. Cap1 Bowl looks like a HS stadium with it's facilities versus JW. Players, fans, and coaches would much prefer the Cotton at game time over Orlando. Did I mention parking... wow lots of parking and zero shady neighborhoods around.

I slightly agree with the fact that Disney is close but it's crowded as frick during holidays.

Fox had the worse coverage of any bowl game this year. How about those non-replays and the guys in the booth being totally unaware of what the rules were in different situations. It was all about them. And let's not forget the closeups on the sidelines when they were reviewing a play and Fox didn't have the replays showing.

I think for this year, with that primetime coverage and great performance, LSU recruits on the fence got a better impression of us than the Cap One bowl would have given.

With that stadium last night, if you are not playing for the NC, you want to go to the Cotton Bowl!

Have yall checked the early ratings for last night yet? Not bad, not bad.

Safe to say Buckeye Fan and his Facebook friends' statuses are not the leading indicators. Turns out you don't really need ESPN hyping if you're the only game on broadcast during primetime.

Anecdotal: I went to 2 non-sports bars last night before coming home to drink alone in the 2nd half, and every TV in both bars was showing the Cotton Bowl.

And I have a feeling that the Cotton Bowl will be joining the BCS.

I think so. The dynamics of the Cotton Bowl has changed with Jerry World et al in the equation. The BCS wants undivided attention and they will get it playing in that stadium, with Jerry Jones support, in their own time-slot.
