Anyone know if we will hear updates from LSUs team today?

You need to make sure that there's been at least 24 hours for cooler heads to prevail. Right now it looks like SEC is the hammer and LSU is the nail.
Will any of this happen?:
Go back to Judge Jorden now for expedited clarification/enforcement. Ask whether terminating LSU’s membership because the SEC cannot impose the enjoined penalties would itself constitute a prohibited sanction. This is especially important because the SEC has now reportedly said the Louisiana injunction leaves it unable to penalize LSU directly, which is why termination is being considered.
File aggressively in Alabama: oppose the SEC TRO and put the federal judge on notice that if an expulsion vote occurs, LSU will seek an immediate injunction preventing it from taking effect while the merits are litigated.
Send formal preservation/litigation-hold notices to the SEC and relevant officials: preserve emails, texts, Signal/WhatsApp messages, Teams/Slack, meeting packets, draft resolutions, communications with presidents/ADs, etc. That is not a threat; it is standard litigation practice.
Demand written grounds and an opportunity to respond before the vote. Force them to state exactly what LSU supposedly did that warrants expulsion. “Lane made a sarcastic TV comment” looks very different when someone has to put it in a formal charging document.
Have LSU’s Board formally authorize emergency litigation and all available claims/remedies. That sends a very different message than Kiffin or the AD talking publicly: the institution itself is prepared to go to court immediately.
This is all the options I could find
