I happy b/c I have ESPNU, so stop crying!

Are you kidding me! it's great! I cancelled my season subscription to ESPN gameplan because of the ESPNU coverage. ESPN gameplan for the season is $120. With ESPNU picking up Vandy and ULL, I can order the 1-3 games that won't be nationanlly televised, individually, for $19 dollars each. Not to mention we won't have to listen to the clown commentators on tigervison.

South Carolina (Spurrier) vs Georgia has more national appeal than LSU vs. Vanderbilt. That's why you're not going to see it on CBS.
CBS is in it for ratings and money. Not regional preference.

The CBS games are shown live on cbs.sportsline.com, in case that happens this year.
I wasn't aware of that - thanks.

Yes, I'm still pissed the CWS was on ESPN and not ABC/CBS/NBC. The NERVE.

Damn right. If the ULL game were not on ESPNU, you would all be paying $40 or $50 for it on PPV, or all posting on here asking, "who is showing the game this weekend ?" Same may very well go for Vandy.
LSU and the SEC are about to get unprecedented TV exposure. That is a GOOD thing.

Only Vandy and ULL have no chance of being picked up by CBS, ESPNU > Tigervision

Different meaning of "Only", I should have said "but", poor choice of words on my part. I said in a previous post on this topic that there would be 1-3 games that wouldn't be nationally televised. I'm just glad that there will be less games on tigervision.

Are you actually complaining about the fact that every single SEC game will be on national television this year?
The ESPNU deal is the best thing that has ever happened to this conference.
