If we finish as the 7 seed, we will avoid UF until Sunday. If Mizzou finishes 3d we would likely see UK on Friday. Without Noel, UK is beatable. Mizzou away from Columbia is a winnable game. Then hope someone knocks off UF.

Other scenario is we finish 8 or 9 and hope we catch UF sleep walking, similar to UK last year.

I wish the tournament was in New Orleans. I'd like our chances better.

94 percent in the fans will come from Kentucky.

definitely. Those old farts travel very well, and it's right there in Nashville.

I think we have a shot to make the finals. If we have to play UF, I don't like our chances. Anyone else, we have a shot to beat though.

I literally just sent this SMS to my buddy about a crawfish boil next weekend:

Do it and let me know. I think we can win the tourney, still not likely, but possible.

I believe!

I'm predicting a run to the finals. One simple reason- I've gone to the SEC tournament since I was in school back in the Shaq/CJ days. Every year, good or bad I'm there. I've suffered through a lot of bad in that time. This year, I can't go- new job and other things got in the way. I'll be watching on the tv, computer, whatever and not there so I'm predicting a great tournament for the tigers just because I won't see it.

Not me. They are hard to watch. They hustle but rely strictly on creating turnovers and making long range jumpers. JMHO

Maybe not win, but if we land the 7 seed I think we can at least make the semis

We scored more in the paint last night than aTm. We have gotten away from thre point shots, but with JOB getting double teamed so much we have been able to get wide open three pointers.

I think we have moved away from jump shooting and toward an inside presence. It is hard though seeing that the only pieces we have are shooting type guards. Carmouche was able to get to the basket a few times last night.

Florida may not give 100 percent since they are a shoe-in to make the NCAA Tournament. As far as Mizzou goes, we split with them in SEC play so I think we can beat em in Nashville. They don't have as much to play for as we do.

We could be Syracuse 2006.

Even if we won the SEC Tournament and lost in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, I'm in. Sign me up!

Nope. I do like our chances of not looking like we don't belong on the court. It's been a while.

It could happen, LSU could even beat Florida.

Stranger things have happened.

This is the one thing that could help us. But I would think they would play hard for seeding purposes. UK, Bama, Ole Miss, Mizzou and Tenn all have lots to play for though. With a conference with such a lack of respect like the SEC, you have to win every game you can. I don't see any teams in the top half of the conference giving a half arsed effort.

Don't agree with a possible 'lack of effort' by the top teams in the league. If anything they're playing for NCAA tourney position, no team is a no brainer number 1 seed like last years Kentucky squad.
