Anyone else get screwed by stubhub over the sale of season tickets?

Was checking my email today and received an admonishment from stubhub over the mcneese st debacle. Not only that, but I was penalized 10% of the ENTIRE cost of the season ticket. For starters, not only did I not sell these tickets at a profit, I took a small loss. I understand them wanting to recoup the refunds they need to pay out, but this was a little heavy handed. In the future they can kiss my arse and I'll buy and sell elsewhere.

So, they wanted you to issue a refund and you wouldn't?

How about you pay the refund you pos

Can you not get a refund from LSU? This seems pretty basic.

So basically the tickets sold for $1250.....so they charged me $125. I don't mind giving a refund, especially since lsu will make me somewhat whole, but $62.50/ea for mcneese tickets is absurd.

The game was refunded you cheap bastard. If you bought the season tickets originally you made money off of this.

How is it you folks fail to understand that I'm getting back $70 from LSU, yet I'm forking out $125. So I'm losing $55 math whiz

Nope.....but a company taking advantage is bullshite. I agree 100% with giving the buyer a refund, but then levying a fine on top of that is bullshite. Hell stubhub already made more than a nice profit when the tickets sold, why should they get an additional $55? Oh well, don't need them, many other avenues to sell tickets where the buyer and seller don't get fee'ed to death.

Not really.
Also, read the fine print before you sell.

Well did you sell your tickets to the person whom bought your season tickets for a price of 62.50 per ticket? Then yes you should pay back 125 reguardless of what Lsu refunds you if your season tickets were sold for a greater price than you paid for them.

Sounds like you're lucky they were nice enough to only charge back 1/10 of the full price instead of 1/7.

I've used stub hub about 5 times for Lsu games with no issues as a buyer. No issues and good customer service. I wud never pay much per tix vs a fcs opponent. I'll wait till game day and grab em for cheap. It was home opener which may get my range up a little.

EBay is an evil, evil company. They will frick over their sellers in every orifice you're aware of and two that you aren't.
If you're going to sell on eBay or their related companies, lube up, bend over and grab those ankles tight because it's coming.
