Anyone concerned about Finley’s accuracy?

From what I’ve heard along with Seeing practice videos, Finley appears to struggle with his accuracy. If Max is more accurate and more mobile, I’m curious why Finley is getting the start. Accuracy is the most important thing a QB can have. I don’t care about arm strength. Has his accuracy approved the last month? Anyone concerned that Finley’s accuracy will be a problem and think Max will ultimately earn the job once they both play in games?

I think the coaches probably realize that accuracy is fairly important.

You don’t think the coaches that watch them everyday are paying attention to both guys accuracy? I’m sure Finley starting probably means he was more accurate.

Not at all; dude is the next Elway. 6’4” 230, rocket arm, command of the offense. He’s going to lite it up!

If he misses high he won’t be in long.

My issue is that having Max back there enables us to use him in the run game. With TJ not so much.

I am. Maybe he has gotten better, but last year in high school his accuracy had problems. He's a big guy with a big arm. He uses his power to try to compensate for his reduced speed . That being said, he can be deceptively fast when pushed. He has Jamarcus type of range in his power.

Nope, he’s the backup, so that makes him the best QB.

Both will play. Put the big dude in just in case the oline is a dumpster fire and they can’t run the ball. Then put in Max to throw if we have to. Makes sense.
