Anybody worried about Raymond

With the most recent defensive hires most have a defensive back background.
Per ncaa ranks lsu secondary was not that bad under Raymond last year
And the Goodrich saga was because of CEO not raymond

well, it's always nice to have a secondary that's not bad but it's much better to have a secondary that's very good.

So OP is this bad if Raymond and Aranda wanted to alleviate some of Raymond's tasks so each group gets the attention it needs?

I read the additional DB Coach allows Raymond and Butler to split up the DB's as per CB's and Safeties, etc. This allows for more individual coaching. Like Linebackers splitting up between inside and outside.

Hiring the safeties coach will only help Corey with on the field coaching and recruiting.

You think a DB coach on the job for two weeks and a TE coach swayed Surtain? No, it was their HEAD COACH, and we can’t compete with him in a closing role with our Head Coach. Pretty simple.

So Corey is blameless? He lost Mullen and now Surtain. Tolliver never developed and Jackson is just fast, not sure what else he is good at.
