this thread made me think of the 52-51 shoot-out these two teams had with one another two years ago.

both offenses are formidable

Of course Ole Miss is a better offensive team. Just go look at the production difference even with a tougher schedule.

Possibly better, but I don't think significantly better.

I think we may match up a little better with ole miss, their strength is their run game Ark's was qb and long athletic wr's. Our strength on d is our front 7 and our dbs are def. our weakness. That said I think this game could really go either way.

Yes and no. Arkansas was productive because of Jefferson. Ole Miss doesn't have a Jefferson.

Ole Miss will be a better running team by a lot (even though Ole Miss hasn't been as good this year as last). That Arkansas OL was bad and their RB was injured.

Ole Miss will have better WRs.

Ole Miss is better, but it might be a better matchup for LSU.

Last year Ole Miss started the game faster and then faltered. I hope LSU doesn’t struggle out of the gate.

Don't know. I think KJ is more dangerous. I do know we better get off the field on 3rd down. Ole Miss is dreadful on 3rd down conversions and we better not help them out in that category.

Overall they could but they won't have a kj Jefferson at qb.

Kj was the difference for arky. He was about impossible to take down. Without him arky doesn't out up close to the points they did.

Defensive backs need to stay with their assignments tho and not get caught looking in the back field for the qb scramble

Dart doesn't weigh 250 like KJ. Our pass rush will get Dart to the ground

You made my point. It does not look good for us. That’s all I’m saying.

The Resistible Force vs The Moveable Object

Ole Miss is 108th in 3rd down conversion % this year at 35.4%

LSU Defense is 99th allowing 44.2% on 3rd down.

I think Coach Kelly will make corrections on defense and the players will play more disciplined with their assignments. Still look for ole miss to score 25 points and this rebel team will come out focused after a sec loss on the road.

I look for a balance in offense for the Tigers and I think scoring 31 points in a win may be too conservative. If the tigers can build a lead in the first half, I think it will help our secondary as Ole Miss may abandon the run.

I would go with the under of 67 total points.

I think that is the case, yes. LSU is in trouble this weekend.

Tulane pushed Ole Miss' o-line around like they were little kids. And LSU's defensive line is much better than Tulane's. Ole Miss will struggle all night.

I hate making predictions but all things considered we should win the game. This is all about House and his nonsense. Can’t tell if he’s ignorant or just stubborn but after 13 games vs P5 opponents at LSU he’s giving up 29.1ppg which isn’t good.

Honestly, don’t think their OL will give us fits like Arky did. They did a great job all night.
