The succeeded with me. I was like "What the frick? Are they landing on the field?"

I seriously think someone is getting an arse chewing right now.

Maybe they were running 7 innings late

Only a little bit worse than the couple of tries at football games in 08.

Some of the bowl games this year had flyovers come through when they were just about to take the field.

Was sitting in LF bleachers tonight...It was definitely a Blackhawk and definitely much lower than any helicopter I've ever seen at a game. I would swear that thing barely cleared the grandstand when it flew over it.

Super Bowl had a fly over and the roof closed...

I was above the LSU dugout in the grandstands, and it was sending those "vibrations" that choppers give off as they land throughout the grandstands. It was a sight for sure.

remember back in the mid nineties or late they had a chopper hover over the outfield to push water off the field for a regional.

Does anyone know if it was lower than the helicopter that hovered over the box to take pictures before the first game in 09?

Way lower. Probably no more than 100 feet.

That was weird. I was in the right field corner. It was so low I felt it.

But it was really cool!

I remember the heli drying the fields that was cool. Also I sit in section 203 in right field, the one in 09' you were prepared for, it had a slow decend but the one tonight that sucker couldn't have been 250', you couldn't have put a 25 story building under it. It definitely would have hit Tigerstadium if it had stayed that low.

I wish I could have witnessed the chopper! It seems perfect to start a game!

It would've hit the middle of Tiger Stadium.
