I heard him say last week music was banned from the locker room and that was bullshite, so I try not to take anything Jordy says seriously and make my own decisions.

Fact is, Daniels makes some bad throws. So does Nuss. Sometimes both make good throws and the receivers drop it. Happens surprisingly often this season, in fact.

I think most if not all Tiger fans like Nuss. Jayden, if used properly, would be unreal, but they won't run QB Power circa UF 2007 and 2008. Too bad. But Nuss does have a propensity to throw to the opposition pretty frequently, and I imagine the coaches see more of him and know more about what they're looking at than any person here on the rant lol. He looked good last night. Much improved from last season against Grambling.

don’t think Daniels is genuinely bad, just limited I’d much prefer a pocket passer to wheel and deal to the plethora of playmakers LSU has Daniels eats up a lot of offense with his style of play, and then limits us down field They play the position so differently, it’s kind of a head scratcher they are on the same team Daniels missed some easy passes vs FSU and that was simply enough for me. And i was riding with him last year and this offseason, assuming that aspect of his game would progress. We just have too many good skill position guys to be limited to a flag football QB that’s gonna run a ton. We don’t need that. We have that all over the field. And I say this as someone who was riding with daniels all off season, and want to see him succeed and make a career for himself in the NFL But his style of play is unnecessary with the talent we have

Man if only the coaches realized this!!
It’s like they want to lose

That's what Jordy said last week. This was proven emphatically to be incorrect.

But y'all hang on his every word lol

LSU Football social media pages tried comparing Jayden to Burrow after the Grambling game and they got destroyed in the comments.

This is embarrassing

I don’t hang on to anything Jordy says. I view these LSU radio personalities as just fans.

Nuss will also make the rushing attack better as a whole, because he can stretch the field vertically. Throwing the ball down field will make teams defend differently and will open up the run game. Really not groundbreaking. The offense is much more diverse with Nuss, which generally would equate to more points against quality teams.

He said with Nuss there will be no rpo plays that he is looking to run

Is this right? I would think RPOs would be a big part of the play calls with Nuss.

The last 3 times out the difference has been pretty obvious.

We’ve found a way to downplay JD’s 5 TDs because “it’s fricking Grambling”, but 6 passes in absolute garbage time against Grambling are enough to tell Nuss has it.

I don’t understand the need to constantly prop up Jayden. He is what he is. Comparing him to Burrow is a bridge way too far.

Nuss has two main things going against him. 1. Coaches are looking for reasons to start JD because they actively recruited him last year from the transfer portal and 2. Nuss kind of screwed himself with is early career interceptions despite playing really well his last three games.

not at all.

The last somewhat meaningful snap Nuss played was a Nuss fumble vs UGA. The last definite meaningful snap was an INT vs Arkansas.

The idea that any fan can say with any conviction that he’s the better player is asinine to me.

8 out of 10 times Burrow had the defense read and the offense checked into the right play before the ball was snapped. I don’t believe JD has called and audible in his entire life.

Coach O said that Burrow would lead the offensive game planning meetings each week with Coach E and Brady. Burrow was on a totally different level cognitively.
