There’s a new boutique hotel on top of a hill that overlooks the stadium and is within walking distance. Haven’t stayed there because I live 15 minutes away but the restaurant is outstanding and is walking distance to the stadium. It’s called Stonebreaker.

Not for football, been up there for basketball and baseball. Will probably go next month for the LSU-Arky game in Jan.

Beautiful town, only thing is that Air BNBs are expensive AF for game weekends. A large part of the fanbase lives in Little Rock and will stay up there for the weekend. So I'd try to book early if you plan on going. Or just be ok with a hotel room.

I just spent 3 weeks in that area, and have numerous times before. I have been and stayed in many nice areas of the country, including living in Aspen, Co. Considering everything, including the gorgeous/clean/raw scenery, lakes, rivers, mountains, great roads/hwys, quaint towns, people, low crime/safety, prices...... and the vast array of "challenging - world class" outdoor adventure, biking, hiking, kayaking, camping, fishing and other sporting opportunities.....it's one of the best, and therefore one of my overall favorite areas to visit, escape, stay & play. The only thing missing, and it's a big one for me, is no snow skiing. But many of the above activities would not, and are not generally available @ the time/places I ski, so the lack of skiing in Arkansas does not really apply. Nor do I think about or miss it, for the multitude of other activities available keeps me busy and never leaves me board.

Another world class, rare offering + benefit not mentioned above, that alone would be worth heading up to Arkansas for, is to luxuriate in the miraculously healing mineral water available in "Hot Springs"! Ponce de Leon thought he found the "Fountain of Youth" when he discovered it. This very water is bottled in Hot Springs & served in the "White House". I'll have to stop here, now.....for I could write pages on how this one stop/stay while traveling up further North (Hwy 7) into Arkansas is so indeed incredible.

But I will end with this:

THERE IS NO SIMPLE, EASY WAY TO GO OR GET INTO ARKANSAS.

It is uncanny, impossible to describe or explain. It does not and/or would not SEEM to be a big deal. But it IS. Arkansas is like a VOID or Black Hole that drops through a US Map and defies all time/space or reason in getting there. From S. La to the Panhandle of Fla. it is brutal, and entering the Boston Mountains, can be dangerous & even treacherous. I just drove it, and while I have numerous accurate reasons/examples that specifically describe the challenge involved, it would require more time/space than I've already spent, written above. I'll will tell you one, however. I've driven to Colorado Ski Resorts many times before. And while it is far, far further in Miles & Time/Hours to drive........my trips to Arkansas seem far longer, more difficult, stressful & exhausting! Also, right now, during hunting season, where I was staying.....you've got about perhaps a 12% chance of NOT ARRIVING wherever you are going due to DEER! And I am not kidding!!
