Interview this am on Jordy's show.... asked him a question along the lines of "whats going on with the recievers, from your perspective?"....

paraphrasing here..... but after a small delay, and saying he didn't want to say something he's not allowed to, he really ripped into Miles' decisions and esp. clock management issues.

Don't disagree with his comments, but it would have been alot more appropriate in the offseason.... or would it? he's a former player.... didn't know if anyone else heard the interview

He has no allegiance to Les. He was asked a question and he answered it. From what you say, he didn't go overboard with criticism, so I see no issues.

not that I think the receivers are being utilized properly, but what does clock management have to do with receivers dropping balls?

no. he didn't say anything about current recievers... just started saying that basically it's a sloppy program run by a sloppy man and the recievers are a by-product

FWIW he didn't specifically say "sloppy".. im paraphrasing...

If it wasn't for Josh Booty he might not have made it to the NFL. It was JB that told him he should switch to WR.

Most credit goes to Saban on that transition too. NS also told Antonio Gates he'd be a good TE, when he was playing basketball. funny how that turned out...
And Devery Henderson.

the same should have been done with Richard Murphy. Miles missed the boat on that one.

wrong

on the interview this morning he said he had been beaten out at RB, so instead of riding the bench, he pleaded with the coaches to let him try out at WR. the rest is history. this guy took control of his own destiny.
