Yeah I guess more argue stats then trash talk. The Death Valley thing is stupid to me. Right now I don’t even want to argue stats it’s just LSUs better and I don’t even have to say it.

Trash talking is like masturbation, it’s not necessary, it doesn’t accomplish anything, but it can be an enjoyable diversion.

It’s harmless fun that fans can participate in or not as they chose.

Two things I don't do when watching ballgames. Bet or trash talk. I want very few distractions so I can enjoy the game on its own merits.

In years past and maybe some earlier this year, I would participate in a little trash talk. However, coming into this game, I see Clemson posting stuff and twitter. “We are the really Death Valley” “LSU’s defense has given up this or that against Vandy or whoever” and so forth and I’m over here not commenting, smiling to myself saying none of that matter cause LSU gonna whip that arse.

A number of folks/friends that know me and know that I am an LSU grad and student athlete have stated that I haven't said much and my reply has been "don't need to, they are just taking care of business".

When you step back and look at this, we were rolling from 2000-2010 with Saban and the post Saban effect and you didn't need to say much then. Now you look at Coach O and what he is building and how he manages it, I feel pretty confident that we are going on a multi year run in the 2020's.

I also have great confidence in Will Wade, and once he cleans up the broken glass from last year he will have that program running as well. He just needs time, just like Coach O needed time to clean up the Miles mess.

With Alleva gone, (and I think F. King) things are looking real good for LSU

I’d rather not trash talk...just let the results speak for themselves.

Um,.... As a visiting fan, I read this thread and wonder if anyone on it has ever opened any threads on Tiger Rant.

With out a doubt, this forum has the most homer trash talkers of any team we have played in the CFP over the last 5 years. I mean it is not even close......

Trash talkers tend to be immature and lack self confidence. They think if they run their mouth enough that eventually people will believe them. They believe talking down to others makes them superior. Most of them are just idiots to be ignored. If it makes u feel good to talk trash then you have some serious personality issues and need a lot of help

Our battles of wit and words on here impacts the game nil. So, no matter how good you are at talking shite - you are not contributing to a win, or loss, one iota.

It's not about contributing to a win or loss. It is about making strangers feel bad about themselves.

It is part of what is best in life. "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, hear the lamentation of their women, and make opposing fans cry."

No need to ever talk trash unless provoked.
