What shred of evidence exists that he is a good fullback, much less better than the starter

The love affair comes from his HS recruiting film. He's a beast carrying the ball and has excellent hands.

Whats the chances that he would be moved to TE? With all the talent that we seem to have at FB(Mouton, Ducre). I know the move would not happen this year but possibly next. I mean at 6'4 and his athletic ability he would be one hell of a TE.

He was a TE. We made him a FB because he's a great lead blocker.

Why do people have this continued love affair with Ducre? What shred of evidence exists that he is a good fullback, much less better than the starter?

And what shred of evidence exists that Moore would be a better tight end than any of the tight ends we have?

Moreau is the tight end of the future, imho. He's mostly filling Gordon's role in the 2TE set right now, but he can catch.

I think the TE talk for Moore was more of a looking into the future thing. The comments were assuming these younger fullbacks come on in the next few years. After we lose Jeter and Gordon, IF we had 3 very capable fullbacks I could see a change being possible just to get our best 11 on the field. I don't think anyone in there right mind would think that these young fullbacks are playing well enough now.

LF7 & Moore seems to have a great chemistry and trust off one another. Hopefully the other FBs will build the same relationships with Fournette.

Getting mills back would be huge.

Definitely. Would rather he than Thomas in the nickel.

The FB is a position starting to make a comeback in the NFL and teams who use the FB as a big part of the running game will have the pick of the best in recruiting.

I'm sorry but this is a stupid conversation. The conversation should be about how quickly we can get Moore back, because he is obviously the secret key to our run game. Mouton was hitting people, but not the right people and not in the right ways. We need Moore at FB. LF needs Moore at FB. He's not moving to TE. Put that idea out of your mind.

I DIDN'T SUGGEST IT. I didn't even bring it up. I just said the person who did obviously meant in the future. NOONE with a brain thinks he needs to play TE right now! Everyone with a brain knows how bad we need him this week. AT fullback. Blocking for our RB's!

Off topic, but could you imagine JC and LF in the backfield together? That would be one intimidating backfield

It looked as if Mouton and Guice had different packages that they ran separate from LF. They are only freshman and have been here for about 2 months. It's gonna take them some time to learn the plays and how they develop. But I was glad to see that Mouton didn't shy away from contact. There's a reason they put him at #2 FB.

Why move him to tight end? He is an outstanding FB and provides a vital component of a devastating running attack.

One position that is very well stocked with quality is tight end.

God you people are hilarious. Latch on to a kid because of his high school film or stay and clamor for him to be in the game come hell or high water.

I kind of got the feeling Cam was a little uncomfortable with Mouton in the game though,

Looked like Fournette was uncomfortable with him in the game. I noticed more than once that Fournette got to the line and decided to cut away from Mouton's route.
