Any word on how Orgeron feels about not being named defensive coordinator?

Really hope he isn't thinking about bringing his coaching and recruiting excellence elsewhere... But it wouldn't be a shock if his ego was bruised.

He doesn't want to be a DC

I don't know why people keep wanting it for him. He's happy where he's at.

He would like to be a HC at a good program but other than that he's very happy here..

Do you ever stop and think

-Hey maybe Ed didn't want the DC coordinator position?
-Hey maybe Ed was in the same room calling Dave?
-Hey maybe Ed is a compatible guy and will do what he needs to do to win?

Where did you hear that he wouldn't want to be promoted to DC? I have a hard time believing his mindset is either position coach or head coach...

I really hope people would learn how to use the search function and find the answers to their asinine questions instead of creating a new thread.

I've got one. Sorry I don't have time to spend my days reading every thread on there. Link the thread that answers my question.

I've heard it before but no link. I'll try to find confirmation later.

I know it came out today he recommended Aranda

It just makes sense. Why would he now want to be a DC. He's never mentioned wanting that. He's only said he would leave for a top HC job..

Not shitting on the Aranda hire at all. Think it is a great hire and a huge improvement over Steele. Nor do I wish that Les had named Orgeron the DC.

I'm just wondering if he is going to look elsewhere after not getting promoted to a job I have a hard time believing he wasn't interested in.

He has no interest in being a DC. He could have gotten a DC job long ago if he wanted one.

Kinda seems like that is what he is asking.

Too many people here try and make someone feel like shite if they don't know something, then chastise them for asking.

It has been asked and answered 100 times on here and 247 since the hire was announced. The search function works mighty well.
