Said Waters didn't like the balls in Hawaii, so they stole one from the local high school after practice and he went home and slept with the ball and carried it everywhere with him. He now likes the balls.

Said he was fired up for ND and was going get the team prepared for them right now

Was wondering if he harped on turnovers after an emotional win.

Doubt wade is all belt and no ice cream every now and then. Gotta be happy after a win like that.

I think Wade knows when to play "bad cop" and tonight is not the night. I'm sure he will politely point out their mistakes, but this was a big win for this program right now, so he needs to let them enjoy it. No need for a speech like what he gave the media after the Samford game.

“I’m so proud of our players. We turned the page on our program tonight

“I can't tell you how excited I am for our players. They've worked so hard. I told them before the game they deserved for something good to happen.”

Cool. I'm glad that's what he said. I hope word of the fan's excitement is filtering it's way to the islands. This is actually one of those times where social media can come in handy. After the game last night, the first TWO pages of the Rant were all basketball threads started by a group of fans starving for hope and a ray of light. We got that last night.

Basically what I expected. It was clear he was enjoying the way his team was playing. He, and the entire bench and staff, were very much into that game. They were hype!

Tasmin Mitchell is a great hype guy at the end of the bench, closer in age to them and can help keep them focused because he's played in big games.
