Yes you do. When you have a gut feeling and instinct you go with your gut. CJJ has done this so much this year have y’all not noticed that CJJ has yet to lock down a consistent lineup and makes changes dang near every game. ?

Lmao, I’m not arguing. I’m discussing (on a discussion board/message website specifically made for discussing lsu sports) why I believe he was scratched based on everything I’ve seen from CJJ this year and also from everything I’ve read from real actual credible insiders, and I haven’t seen him being injured reported or confirmed yet. This is literally the only place I’ve seen anything abt him possibly being injured.

But when you are contradicted by people telling you that you’re wrong, and you continue to push your theory…that is in fact arguing. I never said you couldn’t express your opinion, I’m just “arguing” that you’re wrong.

I agree Dugas is struggling a bit this year. Also keep in mind, he was sick the entire first series against TAMU. But you don’t make a late scratch based on a matchup you have known for over a week. It just doesn’t make any logical sense.

Absolutely, he does. But not 5 minutes before first pitch

Lol, I will be the first one to admit I was wrong the second I see his injury officially confirmed. I’m not arguing that he might be injured or might not be; I’m arguing all these reasons you guys keep giving for why it’s “official” or why it’s the only possible reason for him getting scratched.
Many times coaches go with a gut feeling or instinct; especially CJJ. So him altering his lineup to be heavy left handed towards the bottom, is something he easily could’ve done. Hoping the bottom dudes batting from the left will see the ball better and draw a walk or get a hit and get on base for the top of the order to hit them in.. it’s very possible and plausible and even something that CJJ hinted at last night when he was being asked about the game.

Don’t forget also the 15- 20ish mph winds blowing out to RF last night. CJJ sees this and decides that lefty’s might have more production and have a better chance to go yard than a righty would have last night.

No, he's never and will never do that 5 minutes before first pitch after he knew the matchup for a week and already turned in his lineup.

Again I’ll ask, did he also know all week about the huge winds blowing out RF or did he see this after the team took Bp and the winds kept up that way. Making him feel like lefty’s just had a better chance with those winds than a right handed batter did. Hints why every PH he brought in last night was a lefty.

And btw a lineup isn’t official until it’s handed to the crew chief at the coaches and umpire home plate meeting right before the game starts. You can make as many changes as you want up until that point.

Everything he knew when he made the lineup, he knew 5 minutes before the game when he changed it...unless somebody got sick or injured.

Hahah. Obviously none of y’all heard anything CJJ said after the game last night and some of the answers he had. I guess CJJ hadn’t even heard abt Dugas’ injury by then either bc he didn’t once even allude to him being injured.

Dude dugas was scratched way before “5 minutes” before the game. What are you talking about with this 5 minutes before the game nonsense? The dugas scratch was made like an hour and half before game time

I will say this, if he did that 5 minutes before first pitch because of a hunch, he's a basket case.

Either way I just read that he has a wrap on his left wrist during Bp so yeah I’m wrong he must’ve been injured. I have no problem admitting I was wrong about that possibility….
